CM announces IPH Division at Shillai and Sub-Division at Ronhat

 

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday announced opening of Irrigation and Public Health Division at Shillai and IPH Sub-Division at Ronhat in Sirmour district.He made these announcements while addressing a mammoth public meeting at Shillai after he inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs. 3.50 crore in Shillai Assembly constituency. He said the state government would ensure all possible help for all-round development of this Vidhan Sabha constituency. He added that the foundation stone of lift water supply scheme Kando-Dugana which he dedicated to the people of the area today, was laid by the then state BJP government in the year 2008 and it took about ten years to complete this scheme.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the state government soon after assuming the office lowered the maximum age limit for availing benefit of old age pension without income limit from 80 years to 70 years which benefitted over 1.30 lakh people adding that over 14,000 people were getting this pension in the Sirmour district.The Chief Minister said that the state government would take up the matter to declare Hatti community as Scheduled Tribe with the Government of India.

He announced upgradation of CHC at Shillai to civil hospital and upgradation of Primary health centre Ronhat to community health centre. He said Rs. 26 crore would be spent on augmentation of different water supply schemes to solve the drinking water shortage in Shillai area.Jai Ram Thakur said the state government was laying special stress on construction and maintenance of rural roads. He announced Rs 1.60 crores for construction and maintenance of roads in the Shillai constituency. He said that a helipad would also be constructed at Shillai.  He announced starting of Mudrika bus in Shillai and to open Atal Adarsh Vidyalya at Shillai for which appropriate land would be identified. He also announced Rs. 2 crore for construction of college building at Ronhat in next financial year.

The Chief Minister announced staring of two new trades in ITI Shillai and Kafota and starting of Post Graduate Classes in Degree College Shillai. He said that Rs. 15 lakh would be provided for construction of astro-turf at Government Senior Secondary School, Satoun.He announced that mini secretariat Rajaswa Sadan would be constructed at Shillai besides opening of Primary School at Ashiad. He said that rest house of Shillai would be expanded besides providing additional accommodation. The Chief Minister announced rupees one crore for construction of BDO office at Shillai.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated bridge on Tilgan Khud on Poka road, lift water supply scheme Kando Dugana,  Primary Health Centre Jakhu building at Jakhna and staff residences at Government Degree College Shillai constructed at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh, Rs. 1.30 crore, Rs. 60 lakh and rupees one crore respectively. He also opened Fire Post at Shillai to cater to the needs of entire area.The Chief Minister was accorded rousing welcome enroute Paonta Sahib to Shillai at Satoun and Dugana. Various social, cultural and political organisations honoured the Chief Minister on the occasion.

Vice Chairman, State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited Baldev Singh Tomar while welcoming the Chief Minister said that the present state government was about to complete ten months in office and this period had witnessed unparallel development. The government was laying special emphasis on development of those areas which had remained neglected so far. He also apprised the Chief Minister regarding various developmental demands of the area.

MLA Suresh Kashyap said that the Himachal Pradesh was forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He urged the Chief Minister to take up the matter with government of India to declare Giri Paar area as tribal area.Shillai Mandal BJP President Surat Singh Chauhan welcomed the Chief Minister and others present on the occasion. MP Virender Kashyap, Chairman, State Agriculture Market Board Baldev Bhandari, State BJP General Secretary Chander Mohan Thakur, BJP leader Balbir Singh Chauhan, OSD to the Chief Minister Shishu Dharma were also present on the occasion among others.
